Claire Young BVM BVS CertAVP MRCVS
Claire joined Rossyln as senior vet in January 2018 and loves working within our friendly team. She recently gained a certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice through the University of Liverpool and is looking for her next challenge to improve her veterinary knowledge even further! Claire enjoys all aspects of veterinary work from surgery, to dentistry and medicine. She helps to look after her family Cockerpoo, Dillon, and has a new arrival, Betsy the Cocker Spaniel, as well as Mini her Russian Dwarf hamster. In her spare time Claire plays squash for Guisborough squash club and for the county team. She says it’s a great way to stay fit and relax after a busy week!
Marina Lubbinge BVSc MRCVS
Marina graduated from the University of Pretoria, South Africa in November 2016 and joined us in February 2018. She spent a year practicing as a veterinary surgeon for the South African government, gaining experience in the small animal and working equid welfare sector as well as being involved in the public health sector. Marina enjoys spending time exploring the Yorkshire countryside with her husband. In her spare time she sneaks in some quality time with a good book and a steaming cup of tea. She has an avid interest in all things equine and has a lovely but quirky Arab mare named Vasti on their family farm in South Africa. Marina is a feline enthusiast but will always have a special place in her heart reserved for any Irish Wolfhound.
Rebecca Prater BVM&S MRCVS
Rebecca graduated from Edinburgh University in 2013 and joined the Rosslyn team in April 2018, having worked in the area since graduation. At work Rebecca has a keen interest in all things surgical and is really enjoying being part of the Rosslyn team. She has two cheeky cats at home, Rhino and Moo, who keep her entertained. Outside of work she enjoys socialising with friends and is an active member of her church in Saltburn, as well as enjoying long walks on the Moors and the beach.
